Most Insurance Accepted

Active Chiropractic PC accepts most insurance plans. Your out-of-pocket expense will be dictated by your individual insurance plan if you have one.

We would recommend calling the number on your insurance card prior to your appointment to better understand your benefits. Call us to learn more.

Discuss What Your Chiropractic Benefits Are

It is quite simple. First, ask what your chiropractic benefits are. You will want to make sure they tell you the following:

Does your deductible apply, is there a co-payment or co-insurance, and how many visits are covered per year. If we are out-of-network for your plan, you may want to ask for those benefits as well.

Options for No or Limited Insurance Patients

To comply with current laws and regulations, cash pay patients are charged the same fees as insured patients.

There is a discount plan offered by ChiroHealthUSA. Please let us know at your visit if you have signed up online for this program or we can help you sign up while you are at our office.

Official Medicare Policies

We do accept assignment from Medicare which will only cover manual manipulations of the spine. Medicare does not cover exam fees or x-rays.

Insurance

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit cms.gov/nosurprises.
